Privacy policy

What data EcomBriefs processes when you email us or request a technical diagnostic, why it is used and what rights you can exercise.

Last reviewed: 28 August 2026

1. Controller and contact

Controller: EcomBriefs. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hola@ecombriefs.ai.

2. Data processed

This website does not currently contain its own submission form. Contact buttons open the visitor's email application. EcomBriefs may process the following data when someone writes voluntarily or commissions the service:

  • Contact and communication data: name, email address, organisation and message content.
  • Engagement data: store URL, requested scope, delivery preferences and correspondence about the sample or diagnostic.
  • Public technical information: public store pages, selectors, HTML excerpts and technical results required to prepare the diagnostic.
  • Administrative data: billing or payment information when a paid service exists, to the extent necessary to manage the relationship and meet legal obligations.

The hosting provider may generate basic technical logs —such as IP address, date, requested resource or user agent— to deliver and protect the site. EcomBriefs does not currently use its own audience analytics tool on these pages.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Replying and preparing a sample

To answer the request, check whether there is enough public journey to review and prepare the requested findings. The basis is taking steps at the data subject's request before entering into a contract.

Providing a commissioned diagnostic

To define the scope, perform the analysis, deliver the report, manage payment and handle issues. The basis is performance of the contract and, where relevant, compliance with legal obligations.

EcomBriefs does not use these details to send a newsletter or automated marketing messages from this website. Any change to that practice will require additional information and, where applicable, consent or another valid legal basis.

4. Recipients and providers

EcomBriefs does not sell or rent personal data. Data may be processed by providers strictly required to host the website, manage email, store files or administer payments and invoicing, under the terms applicable to each service.

These pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When requesting those files, the browser connects to Google's servers and may transmit technical information such as the IP address. External links are governed by the third party's own policies.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, safeguards required for the relevant service will apply. Information about specific providers must be kept current when the actual infrastructure changes.

5. Retention

Enquiries are kept while needed to answer and close their follow-up. If a contractual relationship exists, information is retained during service delivery and afterwards for the periods needed to meet legal obligations or address potential claims. Tax and billing records are retained for the legally applicable periods.

Working files and technical evidence are kept only while needed to deliver the service, resolve issues and document the delivery, unless another period is agreed or retention is legally required.

6. Rights

Data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability where applicable, and may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Requests can be sent to hola@ecombriefs.ai with the information required to identify and handle them.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

7. Security

EcomBriefs applies reasonable and proportionate measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration or loss. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and measurement

In its current version, EcomBriefs does not place analytics or advertising cookies and does not display a consent banner because those uses are absent. Hosting or other strictly technical resources may process data needed to deliver and protect the page. If analytics, advertising or non-essential cookies are introduced, this policy and the consent mechanism must be updated before they are enabled.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the service or its real data practices change. The review date will be shown above.
