Terms of service

General terms for the free sample and EcomBriefs technical accessibility diagnostic.

Last reviewed: 28 August 2026

1. Operator and contact

Operator: EcomBriefs. For questions about the service, email hola@ecombriefs.ai.

2. What EcomBriefs provides

EcomBriefs performs technical accessibility diagnostics on public pages of online stores. The service looks for reproducible barriers and documents each reported finding with its URL, CSS selector, HTML snippet, technical rule reference and an explanation of potential user impact.

Free sample

Includes up to three confirmed findings when the store has a sufficient public journey and suitable evidence can be shared.

Full diagnostic

The advertised price is €290 and the expected delivery time is 3 working days, once the engagement, scope and payment terms have been confirmed in writing.

3. Scope and method

The standard scope focuses on the homepage, a collection or category page and a product page. Cart and forms are reviewed when the public journey responds reliably and does not require a purchase, sign-in or submission of personal data.

The review combines a real browser and automated tools. EcomBriefs separates confirmed findings from indeterminate cases. The report is a technical sample of the site and date analysed; it is not an exhaustive review of every page, state, device, assistive technology or possible criterion.

4. What is not included

  • Legal certification, legal advice or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
  • A promise to identify or remove every accessibility barrier.
  • A promise of increased sales, conversion, traffic or search rankings.
  • Code changes or implementation, unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Request, price and delivery

The initial request is made by email. Before starting a paid service, EcomBriefs will confirm the scope, total price, applicable taxes if any, payment terms and delivery date in writing.

The advertised three-working-day period starts after that confirmation and assumes that enough of the public journey is accessible for review. If bot protection, a temporary closure, an access requirement or a material store change prevents work within the agreed scope, EcomBriefs will communicate this so the scope or delivery can be adjusted before continuing.

6. Client responsibilities

  • Provide a correct URL and the information needed to define the scope.
  • Do not request unauthorised access to private areas or provide third-party credentials.
  • Review and test any technical change before deploying it to production.
  • Obtain independent legal advice when a legal obligation or formal conformity statement must be determined.

7. Report use and intellectual property

The EcomBriefs brand, website and general materials belong to its operator. The client may use and share the report with its team, developers, advisers or agency to assess and implement improvements. The report may not be resold, published in full as the client's own product or stripped of attribution without written permission.

The analysed store's code and content remain the property of their respective owners. Technical excerpts appear in the report only to identify and reproduce a finding.

8. Diagnostic limitations

EcomBriefs aims to make the included evidence reproducible on the analysis date, but stores change, dynamic content can vary and some barriers require manual or assistive-technology testing that may fall outside the agreed scope.

The report supports technical decision-making. It is not a substitute for acceptance testing, legal advice or a comprehensive conformity assessment. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect real changes to the service. The review date will be shown above. Changes will not retroactively alter an engagement already confirmed, unless the parties agree or the law requires it.

10. Contact

For questions about these terms, email hola@ecombriefs.ai.
